It’s that time again, springtime

If you’ve seen my blog before you know I enjoy speaking about spring and
'new beginnings.’

Reasons for a new beginning aren't just restricted to springtime but surrounds us anytime, in many ways.
Moving to a different location, getting married, divorced, or losing a loved one causes a need for transformation.
Aging or retiring, may require a life alteration.
Something as simple as what you choose to invest your time in, can require changes. It’s up to us to seize that moment and make those changes.

New beginnings aren’t always enormous, transformations often come with a small start.

I’ve said this before and it bears repeating, “Change is inevitable.” It often makes us examine our values and evaluate priorities. This causes questions like...
Should I start over somewhere else, maybe move?
What do I want from the rest of life?
Will this situation be good for me?

With self-reflection, it’s okay Not to have all the answers. The important thing is to consider your values. When you decide change is overdue, muster-up courage and make things happen.
Everyone’s standards are different. Successfully starting must be rooted in your own personal beliefs.

With me, it’s about my faith. As a Christian, I consider the situation and ask... Does it line up with my beliefs?
If not, then I know I need to make changes.

As we celebrate a new springtime, I hope everyone experiences their 'new beginning' with a strong and faithful purpose.

Is it time for a change in your life?

What does ‘warm your heart’ mean?

In a few simple words it’s telling us to
find a way to be happy.

I know that there are many cold-weather lovers’ around, but I’m not one of them.
So, what’s a warm-weather southern gal to do in the midst of winter? Wait for springtime!

I like warm weather, even hot summer days and in North Carolina we have some pretty hot days. Actually, North Carolina followers its own weather pattern, so hopefully, warm weather is just around the corner.

One small way to stay positive during cold months is to remember warm weather activities. And look forward to doing more of them when spring graces us again.

Through the years I’ve learned to be content in any situation. After all, God desires that for each of us.

Hebrews 13:5(KJV) "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

There have been times; I’ve needed to remind myself; I’m blessed. Now, I’m a believer that no matter the state, I can find ways to count my blessings.

With all the troubles in this world, I’m sure we can look around and know (in some way) we are blessed.
When we need to “warm our hearts.” Let’s not overlook our blessings.

How do you warm your heart when the bleakness of winter threatens?

IS 2023 YOUR TIME TO MAKE CHANGES?

1/16/2023

I know many of you have new things planned for the coming months. It's exciting and sometimes a little uncertain for things to change. For me, I'm sure it's because I'm a Baby-Boomer. I shy away from change, but adapting to life and understanding when change is necessary is something we all must do. So on with change. :)

We're told in Romans 8:28 (KJV) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Follow the Lord and he will guide you in those times when a different approach to something is necessary, even with the small changes, He's there.

Probably many have the need to move forward or make a decision to discontinue certain things. It's okay, most times there's a good reason to be brave and start on a new path.
It tells us in the Bible, "The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge." Proverbs 18:15 (KJV)

Knowledge gives us reasons for change, so rest assured, if you're following what you feel is right, then it will work out.
