As we face the difficulty of this virus, I’m glad we’re in the Lord’s merciful hands. With all this uncertainty I’m reminded of the verse in Proverbs, and stand strong in the knowledge that God is not the author of fear.
Panic is the devil’s weapon. Airing on the side of caution, but holding to faith, we all can look forward to another beautiful season. “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.” Proverbs 9:25 KJV In the stir of turmoil, springtime reminds me all things can be new, just as the verse in 2 Corinthians says. It’s great to have spring’s arrival to help brighten the days during this uneasy time. I’m also looking forward to a new line of books Winged Publications is adding. It’s for a non-fiction gift book category. The title of my contribution is, “A Gem of Worth.” This gift book is about birthstones, colors and the Christian meanings pertaining to each month. In God’s word we read that we are predestined. Also, God knew us before we were born, so it’s only natural to associate our birth with symbols, stones and colors from the Bible. “A Gem of Worth” digs into each birthstone, the color, how it fits with scripture and Christian meanings. A few examples for the colors are below. Orange- Freedom and deliverance Scarlet- sovereignty Amber- God’s magnificence and patience Red- Blood, Lamb sacrifice and redemption Purple- Spirit and royalty These are only some of the colors and explanations God’s word provides. I hope you’ll enjoy this gift book and the meanings behind your birthstone. The publication date is to be announced. Thanks to everyone for your kindness. May the Lord keep each of us.
